Here we have an exceptional antique oak desk dating back to 1870, intricately hand carved throughout with two drawers raised upon substantial bulbous, heavily carved cup and cover turned legs unit by stretchers, carvings of acanthus leaf and frieze borders details

A very rare find that commands attention, making a fabulous statement piece in any office and a great investment

Condition: Excellent condition for its time, structurally sound and sturdy, has been cleaned and polished, and is ready to use for years to come.

There is one swan neck handle that is not the exact match but is very similar, not noticeable.

The top of the desk is in excellent condition, there are no marks, apart from a few minor age-related wood splits on the top, which I feel add to the character and charm of this historical and rare desk
