Here we have a beautiful pair of French Kingwood and walnut ormolu mounted lamp side tables, in Louis XVI style.
These are exceptioanlly fine quality side tables, each have a serentine shaped square top centred with burr walnut inlay, bordered with decorative hand drawn penwork of bellflower trails, against a stunning maple in and brass corner edging, over a single frieze drawer, made with solid kingwood, upon slender cabriole legs with beautifully ornate brass mounts and sabots.

The tables are not your average Kingswood furniture these side tables are of superior quality, although delicate in style, they are heavy and sturdy too, which indicates the outstanding quality and the fine materials used on this furniture.

Condition: The tables are in excellent condition for their time. There is a very small minor chip on the leg - see last picture.

The antique tables were acquired from a stately residence in Cheshire, and there is minimal signs of wear and use - they have been very well-kept tables.
