Here we have a quality set of eight Early Victorian mahogany balloon back dining chairs, each with a curved serpentine rail back over a straight front upholstered black faux leather seat, raised upon baluster front legs and peg feet, with swept rear legs.

A wonderful, genuine set of 8 matching, antique chairs, which is a rarity to come across, beautifully designed and crafted with a desirable aged patination.

Condition report: All chairs are structurally solid and sturdy, and all joints are tight. There is general wear and tear and cosmetic scratches commensurate with age and use. Three chairs need their seating restored. The upholstery trim is distressed and some studs are missing on chairs. One of the chair's serpentine back rails looks like it has been previously restored- this doesn't impact on the structure of the chair - Please see all pictures for condition.
