Intricate Geometric Carved Mule Chest - Carved Initials to the front.

A very fine quality antique English oak mule chest, dating back to 1700s with the most beautiful high relief geometric paneled carvings and an inlaid diamond frontage. This beautiful aged English oaks displays a lovely color, grain, and patina. Hand carved to the front with initials: R B
Two storage drawers to the lower front and the lid lifts on the chest which provides excellent large amounts of storage space.
Condition: This magnificent chest is in excellent condition for its time. One minor small piece of paneled oak missing on the right-hand side (not on the front) towards the bottom, right side which does not affect the chest cosmetically or structurally in any way - see the last picture. The Key is absent.There is some historical woodworm that is no longer active, which adds to the patina and character of this beautiful piece.
