This is an exceptional-quality gilt-mounted pier cabinet, dating to circa 1870. <br>

A fine example of a very attractive and finer quality pier cabinet, constructed from walnut with rich flame figuring, the ormula mounts are more numerous and of better quality, with foliate appliques to the stiles, a pierced gallery <a href="in perfect condition and intact, which is rare to see), striking elabote rosette mounts to the side of the cabinet along with a decorative key escuthcheon, with original working key still retained. Finished with elegant corner mounts and a beautiful, intricate brass border.<br>

• Old original glass door, with beautiful ripples authenticating originality, still retaining its original lock.<br>

• Fine English high-end cabinet, likely made by a good London or provincial maker supplying quality townhouses.<br>
