Antique Pine Washstand Dressing Table with Arched Mirror , Dressers & Sideboards ,
A charming antique pine washstand/dressing table, with a lovely warm finish and wonderfully practical proportions.

The piece is fitted with an arched mirror back, framed by a shaped crest and a small turned-spindle gallery. Two petite raised drawers sit either side of the mirror, above a broad, gently rounded top and two further full-width drawers. Each drawer retains decorative brass drop handles, while the cabinet stands on handsome turned front legs with plainer rear supports.

The stripped pine and satinwood combination gives this piece a soft, natural tone, allowing the grain, knots and traditional joinery to take centre stage. The photographs show dovetailed drawer construction, adding to its appealing period character. Its slim 49 cm depth means it works particularly well where space is limited.

Originally intended as a washstand, it would now make a beautiful bedroom dressing table, hall table, compact desk, or a distinctive feature in a cottage, farmhouse, country or eclectic interior.

The mirror is attractively aged, with gentle foxing and surface character that complement the furniture’s antique appearance.
Good antique condition overall, with age-related wear, minor marks, surface variation, old repairs and characterful imperfections consistent with a genuine period piece. The piece has been stripped, so the pine shows natural knots, grain variation and evidence of its construction. The mirror has age-related foxing and surface marks. Please study all photographs carefully, including the close-ups and rear view, as these form part of the condition description.
