A set of four English Georgian Mahogany Early Hepplehite Chairs - Circa 1700's

These Early Hepplewhite Country chairs have moulded, elegant shield backs and pierced splats all beautifully carved from mahogany, which has a beautiful aged warm, rich patina, and grain. A very solid frame with tapered moulded sqaure legs united with H stretchers. The drop in seating is upholstered with black leather.
Origin: England Circa: 1700's
Excellent Condition for their time, with few scratches, and scuffs on mahogany which adds to the character.
All chairs are structurally solid and have sound frames, which tells you about the quality of these old 17th-century chairs.
