Victorian oak breakfront twin pedestal desk, c1870, with nine drawers, black leather with gold tooling. All nine drawers have solid oak fronts with moulded edges. The drawers are constructed with hand-cut dovetail joints. The drawers retain their beautiful ornate original cast brass handles. The drawers are all strong and run smooothly. The twin pedestals rest on original castors so the desk can be moved with ease. Pedestal sides are solid oak.

Condition: Overall solid condition and strudy. Lovely quality piece of history . There is cosmetic scratches and general,cosmetic wear and tear on the leather and oak as you would expect on a piece of this age - see pictures
