Here we have a fine example of an antique oak George lll Carmarthenshire dresser, with the original plate rack back having an ogive cornice and three shelves, the base has three short drawers above ogee center apron flanked by further deeper drawers to either side with original brass swan neck handles and escutcheons, set on well-turned supports, which is united by a pot board base with individual oak boards that vary on size.

There is much to admire in this Welsh dresser, its colour, patina, and craftmanship which you rarely see such fine workmanship nowadays. The colour and finish is just wonderful throughout, being untouched and most importantly original.
No sightly marks like coffee marks/rings, this dresser has been well kept and well polished throughout its time, having an excellent patina and shine on the oak that only years of polish and care would achieve.
A beautiful piece of history that will only ever be an investment.

Excellent condition throughout - one of the individual boards on the post base (at the bottom) has a slight gap where the oak has worn see the very last picture.
