Victorian Walnut Burr Davenport, Writing Desk.

Here is a beautiful freestanding writing desk dating, Davenport, has been splendidly crafted out of a Walnut with a beautiful burr finish, the patina and grain has lots of character and this particular desk dates back to 1850 with its serpentine front Rococo scroll supports standing proud upon original casters.

There are a set of graduated set drawers to one side, and four dummies to the other side, with original turned walnut knobs, which makes for ideal storage. The top lid lifts revealing for storage, ideal for paper and a secret compartment that lifts to reveal further smaller compartments.
