Stately Antique Oak Throne Chair

A high quality, stately, antique oak armchair dating back to the 19th Century, the oak has beautiful, intricate carvings throughout the oak frame, with a striking crown emblem to the top centre headrest. This throne chair is very grand with superior quality, mustard velvet cut upholstery, with thick padded arm rests and an original sprung seat which is very comfy and deep.
Condition: Lovely condition for its time, overall structurally sound and solid, there is extinct historical woodworm, and part of the carving on leg has a small minor loss of oak, (see leg on the right hand side) this does not impact on the chair structurally. One missing caster to front. There is also some cosmetic scratches and knocks that adds to the character and charm of this beautiful historical chair. Please view all pictures for the condition.
