This traditional knole sofa and matching footstool is designed and made by hand in the UK using the finest materials. It's a high-quality designer sofa and stool

With an industry-leading fully coil-sprung mesh top for longevity. The frames are finished to a strong and secure standard; the hardwood is glued, screwed, and dowelled. These details make for a very well-made and considered range.

It features hinged sides tied by fabric chords to beautifully polished wooden finials to give an added elegance. Feather-filled Scatter back cushions provide a luxurious twist and added comfort. The quality fabric has a lovely velvet claret and pale gold stripe.

Designed and manufactured by hand since 1972, David Gundry blends traditional craftsmanship with the finest quality materials, making each suite a timeless classic. Working closely with the customer, each suite can be customized to produce an exceptional piece that is as beautiful as it is unique.

Condition

In good condition acquired from a non-smoking, stately home with no pets, no rips, or tears in great condition overall.

This sofa and footstool have been well looked after with no soil marks, only two minor rub marks at the back of the sofa - see the last two pictures
