This rare antique desk has decorative scrolls throughout and is adorned with fine gilt ormolu mounts and a galleried back above a fall front, revealing a fitted interior along witha secret compartment, retaining its original lock and key, which locks smoothly and with ease, along with its original red leather with a gilt etched surround for writing, set upon elegant yet sturdy cabriole legs.<br> <br> Condition: Exceptional condition for its time, however, there will be historical wear and marks- see all pictures for this.
