SOLD Burr Inlaid Marquetry Table - Circa 1860

Fine quality Victorian walnut and burr table, often known as a Loo Table due to a popular card game starting in the 18th century, however, this intricately inlaid table is of a grander scale. This walnut table is profusely inlaid with swags, flowers, and birds in an oval pattern surrounding the tabletop, using boxwood, tulipwood, and satinwood among others, standing upon four ornately turned supports on original casters and a central column.
The fine oval table tilts vertically to free up space when the table is not in use, which you can do with ease.
Fine original condition, with signs of cosmetic wear and tear (mainly underneath the table ), and minor marks on bull-nose edge please see pictures for all wear and tear.
